MRICS Building Surveyor Glasgow Client Side

Your new company
Hays is working with a leading public sector organisation to recruit a MRICS Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. You will be joining an organisation that manages the 1800 unit strong property portfolio on behalf of Glasgow City Council. They have secured significant funding to manage, develop and dispose of their portfolio of assets. They describe the programme as focussing on "Asset Maximisation".
Your new role
You will be working in a client-side environment with all the benefits of being in the public sector. You will be encouraged to think creatively and strategically to increase the income opportunities that are possible within the organisation's portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
The only requirement is that you will hold the MRICS accreditation. The ideal candidate has experience of project focussed work.

  • In return, you will receive an initial salary of up to £48k. This is subject to an annual increase.
  • An award-winning public sector pension contribution of 19.3%
  • 26 days holiday plus 12.5 public holiday days (increases to 29 days with ongoing service)
