Job Description

Project Manager with Civils Experience required for NIW Projects

Your new company
A well-established company based in the North-West of Northern Ireland with 40 years of construction and Civil engineering experience is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be based in Northern Ireland.
Working on a longstanding framework across Northern Ireland, your primary position will be focusing on Northern Ireland Water projects. With several initial projects due to run for 18 to 24 months and future works planned, this is a permanent position that will give you an excellent and stable pipeline of projects within the civil engineering sphere.

Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top employer on a stable NI-based framework. You will manage ongoing civil projects, including water treatment works, pumping stations and new pipe works.
A successful Project Manager will be able to effectively meet targets within time and budget whilst managing the performance of subcontractors and consultants. An understanding of the commercial elements of the site is essential to drive the project forward and deliver to schedule within budget. You will ensure that targets and progress reports are communicated concisely between the client and site team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ambitious individual with a real interest in becoming an integral part of the senior operational team within an award-winning Northern Irish contractor. As a PM, experience on similar schemes will be expected with your new employer looking favourably on individuals who have worked on heavy civils projects, preferably with experience of Water or Wastewater.
Due to the nature of work undertaken, applicants with previous experience in water projects will be looked upon favourably, particularly within frameworks, however, please note applicants with impressive experience in other areas within Civil Engineering or Construction should still apply.
What you'll get in return
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable contractor and avail of a competitive package.
Salaries will be negotiable on experience alongside a phone, laptop, mileage, 29 days annual leave, private medical cover and a salary review after your probation period.
You will benefit from a permanent role and work within an excellent operational team. This role will also offer the successful candidate a legitimate career path and potential for growth within the business with no UK travel required.
