An exciting opportunity to manage a service team providing support to specialised systems.

Your new company

We work very closely with our customers to ensure we design and build the correct systems to ensure we are able to meet their criteria and deliver the results that they require. We don't like to push basic machinery, we strive to find the best solution for our clients to meet the challenges they face on a day-to-day basis.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the managing director, you will be responsible for managing our current service and customer support department with daily tasks including interacting with customers (of all levels), responding to customer support requests and arranging the required visits with the servicing team. You will work closely with our current design and production departments to keep up to date with our lates products alongside using your product knowledge to provide quotations and invoices to clientele. You will also be responsible for any recruitment, business development, identifying engineering training requirements and embracing new technology systems that you feel will grow the servicing department and take the unit forward.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must possess a good understanding of engineering systems, including electrical, mechanical (backed up with qualifications), knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens), alongside a grasp of service team issues and management. You must feel comfortable dealing with customers, providing product solutions and creating business opportunities. You must be comfortable managing a team of people within a small business, alongside managing multiple tasks at one time, providing results as soon as possible.
