Senior Children's Residential Support Worker - Waterlooville - £15.35 per hour plus sleep ins and overtime

Your new company
You will be working for a small but growing Children's residential care company that offers a safe place for children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect and abuse. They endeavour to provide thoughtfully designed environments to enable young people to thrive and allow them to feel safe, secure and nurtured, whilst building the resilience to develop into adults.
Your new role
You will working as a Senior Residential Children's support worker and will be implementing care plans in collaboration with the team you are working with, support young people in developing their living skills and accessing education / therapy. You will support we accommodate up to 4 children, male, female, and non-binary between the ages of 8 and 18 years. The children will have experienced physical and/or emotional abuse or neglect and those with a Learning Disability (LD).
You will be working on a 150-hour rota. This is essentially roughly works to 2 and half days per week with every other weekend whcih includes 1-2 sleep-ins.
What you'll need to succeed
Must have the right to work in the UK
1 year of experience in the UK care sector supporting children and young people
Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker
Driver with access to a vehicle
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. (desirable)
Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred)
