Maintenance Manager job in Lurgan area working in FMCG food production. The company has a very successful history of supplying retailers with their huge range of food products. Your new role
Leading a team of 6 engineers who work days, you will not only run the day to day maintenance but also plan line changes to allow for seasonal trends, work on projects for upgrades of parts of the factory and process and work very closely with production and quality as a unified team to deliver what the customers need every week. This opportunity comes with excellent support and development for you.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a hands-on maintenance manager role where you are not on the tools all the time, but you are close to the floor and giving technical support to your team and supporting. Experience in food production would be a huge help for the role and some leadership or supervision of the maintenance team is also an advantage.
What you'll get in return
This is a daily role, Monday to Friday leading the team. You will be supported by the long-serving Engineering Manager who will show you the contractor and supplier set up and the current processes to take over the department. You will be paid between £45000 and £50000 with the opportunity for that to grow in the role.
