Your new role

Hays are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated qualified secondary PE teacher to work on a part-time basis in schools across Plymouth. You will primarily be covering PE, however, you may also be asked to cover other lessons from time to time. All lesson plans will be provided for these lessons, so classroom management and student engagement are the focus for this role. This position is suitable for NQTs/ECTs and qualified teachers with experience teaching PE within a secondary setting who are self-motivated and keen to progress. Hays education consultants will support you throughout this role and find you a new position at the end of the contract if necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to provide the necessary documents required for our compliance process, which includes eligibility to work in the UK, recent teaching or placement references, teaching qualifications, and a recent proof of address. Experience teaching the British National Curriculum is essential. We can help you obtain a new DBS if necessary, which you only pay for once in a role with Hays. Flexibility in this role is desired, including the ability to adapt your teaching techniques to suit the needs of your students. Demonstrating professional conduct at all times is essential, which includes adhering to all safeguarding policies.
