Year 6 Primary School Teacher

Your new company
Hays is currently working with a school based in West Birmingham that is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Primary Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Year 6 students. They will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students to achieve their full potential. This is a long-term opportunity that could become permanent.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire the students to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Uphold the school's values of respect, kindness and excellence.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching in a primary school setting, ideally with experience of teaching Year 6.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to delivering high-quality education to all students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • A commitment to the school's values of respect, kindness, and excellence.
