Your new company
This company are setting up an exciting new Future Skills Programme to support those nearing the end of their prison sentence, to gain skills and knowledge and work towards securing employment on release.
Delivery of casework, employability support and building the foundation for skills and aspirations. It will be achieved through delivery of a 3-week training programme of City and Guilds Assured courses and the offer of a guaranteed job interview through casework with the Employer Engagement Officer.

Your new role
This is a temporary to permanent vacancy.
You will provide a high level service to HMP Brixton Future Skills project and be integrated with local 3rd sector organisations and other organisations that accept the client group.
You will be part of a comprehensive Skills and Training service delivered by St Giles Trust that is mindful of, and promotes the organisation's vision, mission, values and strategic aims, with key delivery to be considered.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you will have experience and understanding of people's health and well-being, you will be able to run assessments of individuals and groups in order to best tailor support in line with what the organisation are looking to achieve. You will also have experience of delivering programmes on a 1to1 basis and also in group sessions, relevant to the support required.

What you'll get in return
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, paying starting at £25,000 with increases up to £27,000 during probation. This company and their prison services are hoping to expand 3-fold over the course of the next 12 months, so it is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the business.
