We are seeking an Early Years Teacher who is available for trial ASAP in East London!

Contract type: Contract Long-term Full-time
Salary: £168.37 - £240.78
Location: Barking and Dagenham, East London

We are seeking a dynamic individual who will continue to inspire and motivate our staff and support and encourage our pupils to make excellent progress!

We are looking for a person who can demonstrate vision, resilience, and empathy. You should have a good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years curriculum and demonstrate a complete commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly driven and supportive Primary team on a long-term basis. The curriculum is coherent, content rich and cumulative - empowering the students to achieve their fullest potential.

Your role

  • Provide pastoral care and support to children within a secure learning environment.
  • Assist with the development of a child's personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities.
  • Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources.
  • Encourage mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play.
  • To ensure a close match between the learning experiences offered and the individual needs of the learners in the class, to give each learner a personalised opportunity to achieve the maximum of their potential.
  • To effectively lead and develop all support staff within the class in the best interest of the pupils through collaborative working.
  • Be committed to continually improving classroom practice.

  • Requirements
  • Must possess QTS
  • Have a valid in-date Enhanced DBS (preferably on the Update Service)
  • Must have experience teaching EYFS Framework materials and students
  • Have a resilient character and a strong personal drive
  • Have an unwavering determination to work with students of all abilities
