Children's Support Worker - Chester - Temp to perm

Your new company
Hays are currently partnering with a 'good' Ofsted rated service based in Chester that is a young people and young adult service from that age range of 16 - 25 with the needs of learning difficulties, mental health and trauma. This service is looking for the right support worker to go temporary to permanent and can be flexible with a mixture of long-day sleeps and waking nights.

Your new role
Supporting young people and young adults with trauma, mental health, learning difficulties and other complex needs. You will be required to provide mental, emotional and sometimes physical support to help promote independence, positive mindsets and a safe and caring environment.

What you'll need to succeed
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 health and social care children and young people
- Right to Work in the UK
- A minimum if 6 months experience in the last 2 years in similar services/roles
- Drive licence advantageous but not essential
- Above all, we are looking for people who'll put the person they support first. That means being patient and caring and communicating effectively with them and with others involved in their care.
