A school in the Skelmersdale area is looking for a teacher of Art to join their team immediately. The school promotes all children to be happy, resilient, and confident in their daily lives. The school is seeking experienced or newly qualified teachers, who have a good amount of subject knowledge. You will be welcomed into a friendly and supportive environment.
Your new role
In this job, you should be confident in your ability to Art to both KS3 and KS4 and will possess a passion for raising achievement within this high-achieving department. Dynamic and creative, you will be an excellent team player and be able to inspire others around you. You should motivate and encourage your students to reach their potential. As well as delivering lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students' progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. T his could be a perfect role for an NQT/ECT that is looking to gain some experience working within a high school environment.
