Hays Education are working with a Leicestershire based secondary school that are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching humanities to students in KS3 & KS4.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for humanities and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging humanities lessons to students in Key Stages 3&4.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
• Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in humanities or a related subject.
• Experience teaching humanities to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for humanities and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them.
