Your new role
A s a child support worker you will provide direct service to children who have emotional behavioural difficulties . Y ou will work with children in a residential setting , and help children cope with their emotions, learn new skills, build positive relationships, and access the resources they need.
As a child support worker, you will have the opportunity to:

Assess the needs of each child and create a personalised plan of support

Provide emotional, practical, and educational support to children and their families

Monitor and record the progress and outcomes of each child

Attend training and supervision to develop your knowledge and skills

What you'll need to succeed

Communicate effectively and be a genuinely caring and thoughtful individual,

Previous experience working with children.

To have a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People's workforce or be willing to work towards
