Part-time KS2 Teacher required for the summer term for a primary school based in Wallasey, on the Wirral

Your new role
Are you a KS2 teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!Our client is a friendly and supportive primary school based in Wallasey on the Wirral. We are looking for a part-time KS2 teacher for 2-3 days a week for the duration of the summer term. As part-time KS2 teacher you will take full class responsibility for one half of a job share. You will take active involvement in planning and assessment, and be expected to teach highly engaging and challenging lessons to your class. You will be expected to be a proactive member of the teaching team, and contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this part-time KS2 teacher role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 classes
  • A proven track record of raising attainment and progress
  • A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • A positive and collaborative attitude
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
