Neston, Cheshire. CQC Deputy Manager. ASD and mental health. Full-time permanent contract

Your new company
Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a North West-based social care provider as they are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced deputy manager for a newly opened service that supports young adults between the ages of 16 - 25. This is a dual-diagnosis home that supports young adults with ASD and mental health diagnosis. This is a full-time permanent contract with working hours typically being 9am - 5pm with one sleep per week.

Your new role
In your new role as a deputy manager you will work alongside the registered manager and aid in the day-to-day running of the service. You will support with recruitment, retention, appraisals, and general service reviews, ensuring that the staff team operate at the highest capacity. You will lead from the front in terms of support, ensuring that the needs of the service users are at the heart of all operations. Other duties may include but won't be limited to personal care, administering medication, staff rota's, finances, and training.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful with your application you need full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 12 months referenceable experience in a similar position in the last 3 years, as well as:

  • An NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in adult social care
  • Be willing to work towards and NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification in adult social care
  • Previous experience supporting ASD and/or mental health diagnosis
