We are urgently recruiting a Part-time Teacher to work in a Primary School in East London ASAP!

Contract type: Long-term Full-time Contract
Salary: £139.42 - £164.98
Location: Newham, East London
Start date: ASAP

  • We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative teacher to join our vibrant and diverse school community. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons that meet the needs and interests of all learners, following the National Curriculum. You will also work closely with other staff members, parents and external agencies to ensure the well-being and progress of every child in your care.

    As a part-time teacher, you will:
  • Teach children in Year 1 and Year 3 classes, using a variety of methods and approaches.
  • Assess, monitor and record children's learning and development, using the National Curriculum and other tools.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's vision, values and policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, performance management and professional development activities.
  • Be an active member of the school community, supporting its ethos, aims and objectives.
  • Motivate and stimulate a child's learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience.
  • Aid the development of a child's personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities.
