Music Teacher/Instructor - Coalville Based Secondary School - Part Time & Long Term - Start ASAP

Part-time (2 days a week)
North-West Leicestershire based secondary school
To start ASAP until Easter.

Hays Education are representing a North-West Leicestershire based secondary school that are seeking a part-time Music Teacher/Instructor to join their team. There will be the opportunity to work on additional days if you are willing to support with general cover for other subjects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and teaching, and will be able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Organise and lead extracurricular music activities such as choirs, bands, and orchestras.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in music education or related field.
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching music to secondary school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
