Job Description

Hays are looking for an electrician to join their street lighting team for work across Scotland.

Your new company
You will be joining the team of a national road maintenance contractor which has secured work throughout Scotland for the foreseeable future. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add an experienced electrician to their team.

Your new role
You will be working as part of the street lighting installation team, who work across trunk roads & motorway repairing & reinstalling street lights, as well as other general road repairs. You will be working as part of a crew with adequate safety measures in place. You will predominantly be working on the electrical installation of new street lights, as well as inspection & testing of existing lights.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced electrician with a valid ECS card who is able to report to the depot for an early start. This work may also involve back-shift or night shift as directed by the contracts manager. You will need a valid driving licence in order to assist with moving materials as part of the squad.

You will be offered an immediate start with one of the largest employers in Scotland, who have confirmed they will be putting the operatives through additional training course, such as IPAF, in order to carry out the role efficiently. You will be paid weekly via Hays with annual leave accrued, with regular updates from your Hays consultant.
