Lead Finance Business Partner – Development

Newcastle upon Tyne

Permanent, Full time (37.5 hpw)

Salary up to £55,000 per annum - dependent on skills and experience

We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our brilliant Financial Planning and Analysis team. You will work hand in hand with our Development and Sales team to project manage the provision of financial resource and report on financial performance. You’ll manage a small team to provide financial challenge, guidance and reporting on all our development activities.

You will become a trusted partner to our two Directors of Development and Regional Heads. Being brilliant at your role will include collaborating across the FP&A team to ensure the latest, most accurate financial data is included in all our forecasting, planning and analysis.

A bit about you

You’ll be a qualified financial accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a strong modelling/financial appraisal background. As a leader of people, you will have experience of managing a high performing team and getting the best out of people. You’ll ensure the team deliver timely and accurate financial data and analysis.

With a strong commercial eye, you’ll identify future financial risks on our development schemes, ensuring these are accounted for and communicated appropriately. You will enjoy critically analysing, reconciling and interpreting financial information combining this with great communication skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports suitable for all stakeholders, including our Board.
