International heavy engineering company looking for multiskilled fitters

Job Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Fitter
Requirements:

  • Must be a time-served electrician with a mechanical background.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a mechanical background and electrical experience are also eligible.
  • The ability to work continental shifts.
    • Responsibilities:
  • Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing plants.
  • Utilise electrical systems effectively.
  • Address electrical issues promptly.
    • Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship program.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Familiarity with working in a heavy engineering environment.
  • Desirable knowledge of high-voltage distribution systems.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematic drawings.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
    • Additional Skills:
  • Comfortable working at heights and in enclosed spaces.
