Registered Manager - Children and Young People

Your new company:We are looking to recruit a passionate, motivated and confident individual for a full-time Registered Manager in the Gloucestershire area for a Children and Young Person setting. Leading a passionate staff team, with the assistance of a deputy, you will be fully supported by other members of senior management and your staff with the same goal of promoting the advancement of this new setting right to the top! You will also benefit from working with colleagues as part of a wider supportive team and have an active role in the strategic future development of the setting.

Your new role:As Registered Manager, you will need to ensure the provision of high quality residential care services, with the principal aim of ensuring that each child and young person who lives with them develops essential life skills and is supported in various ways that will enable them to grow and develop towards adulthood and independence. Ensuring all care and decisions are taken in accordance with performance targets and to support, develop and mentor staff to fulfil their roles to the highest standard.

What you will need to succeed:You will need to have experience as a Registered Manager, with at least 6-months experience within a Children and Young Persons setting. As you will be leading a team of staff, you will need to have excellent communication skills and leadership characteristics, as well as being empathetic and supportive to the staff and residence. You will need to have a QCF Level 5 Health & Social Care, Leadership & Management. As part of your role, you will need to be computer-literate with strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, databases, virtual meetings and other software formats, as well as their own internal systems in which, you will have a two-week induction training with full support and assistance you would require.
