We have a fabulous opportunity for you to become involved with our Peterborough Mental Health service staff team as a support worker, with the flexibility offered by the Home Group  bank worker scheme. A perfect chance for you to get involved in supporting our customers to achieve their individual goals through one to one or group support work. If you enjoy a challenging workload this may be perfect for you.

Our service is based in Eastfield on the outskirts of Peterborough City centre. The customer group at Eastland’s is mental health and all customers referred to the service are done so by the local authorities to continue their individual recovery programs. Our primary aim is to provide housing with support, and you will be joining a very friendly and helpful existing staff team who between them have many years’ experience providing customer support.

About you

To be awesome in this job, your key strengths will lie in having the ability to communicate with customers and be able to-react to their individual requirements and support needs. Customers have individual support plans so a good knowledge of day to day life skills is essential.

The ability to use Microsoft word and excel would be favourable but not essential as training will be provided.

We’ll be impressed with your passion for promoting independence and social inclusion, as well as your focus on quality, efficiency and your ability to develop service provision in new and innovative ways.  

How it works

Working on our bank, you’ll be able to pick and choose your shifts - from those available in your area. As busy as you are, you should be able to do this on the go via your mobile device!
