Hays are exclusively working with our partner school to recruit a qualified Teacher of English to join their large and experienced department for 1 academic year, to cover for a maternity leave. Whilst this is a temporary position, my school are looking to employ the successful candidate on a direct contract on their payroll, which will mean that the contract will run from September 2024 until 31 August 2025.
Due to the size, stability and experience of the department, the school feels that they are able to support the development of an ECT teacher in starting their career and developing their skills. Equally, applications are welcomed from experienced teachers who are looking for a change of environment/fresh challenge and applications from candidates looking for a 0.8 contract can also be considered. Teaching responsibilities can include both KS3 and KS4.
To be considered for this post, you will hold UK qualified teacher status (or as an ECT 2024 be in the process of this) and live within a commutable distance of Sheffield.
