Salary c.£65,000 (depending on skills and experience)

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us in our new role of Senior Development and Delivery Manager, managing the delivery of our new-homes development programme for the Southern Region. Youll be supporting us in our strategic priority to build the right homes, in the right places for our customers.  This is a fantastic opportunity to really make your mark, delivering our mixed tenure development programme from inception to completion. Youll be ensuring that an excellent offer for our customers and communities always lies at the heart of delivery.

Leading our team of Development & Delivery Managers, youll manage projects from site identification through to aftercare, working collaboratively as part of our regional management team.  This will include legals, project appraisals, planning submission and managing construction through to project completion.  Youll be working across a number of sites delivering a variety of tenures from start to finish.  Youll carefully manage income and expenditure and be responsible for our relationship with developer and contractor partners.  This is a brilliant opportunity to deliver our new homes programme to drive growth and surplus, providing best value for our customers.

Youll report to Adrian our Head of Development and Delivery South, who is passionate about delivering market leading homes of the highest quality for our customers.

A bit about you

It goes without saying that youll have significant experience within the housing sector delivering high quality new homes across multiple sites.  With a relevant degree or equivalent, youll have experience in delivering complex mixed-tenure sites of scale successfully, including affordable housing and housing for private sale.  Youll have an excellent knowledge of the commercial aspects relating to housing development, the planning process as well as the procurement and management of contractor partners.  Youll impress us with your brilliant track record in putting together and implementing compliant, design led schemes.

Youll be brilliant at unleashing the potential of our teams as well as making it a great place to work for colleagues.  Youll have a full current driving licence and access to a vehicle as youll be required to travel, working across our different sites.
