Job Description

About the role 

This role will be responsible for the management and evaluation of our Marketing Automation platform which is a key campaign and customer communication system for the OS business.  You will take a hands-on role in ensuring the platform is set up optimally for the business to meet their goals. 

Sitting within the Customer & Marketing team youll act as the focal point for Marketing Automation, working with the Digital Team and BU Marketing colleagues to set best practice, evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities 

As a champion and experienced user of Marketing Automation/automated email marketing, you will have overall ownership and management of the platform in OS corporate, working closely with BUs to drive business benefits. 

Youll ensure the business is equipped to make the most of the platform and will identify and drive the implementation of new features and functionality. This will include arranging training/coaching for users, the co-creation of manuals/guides, managing user roles, setting up new users, monitoring users experience and identifying gaps.

Youll create the platform strategy and approach to advise BU Marketers.  Working with stakeholders, youll support delivery of their campaigns, including advising on complex analysis where campaigns/automations may require new data elements or non-standard profiling.

Monitor platform use across the entire account focusing on engagement metrics, counts, contacts, automations and more.  Report clearly the marketing results of each campaign, with continual learnings, optimisation and improvement advised.

Youll have overall responsibility for email marketing automations and work with our platform partner & colleagues to ensure reporting is set up, and journeys & goals are monitored.  Youll use this insight to drive any updates either personally or through the wider team.

You will also ensure that data quality is maintained and audited as per our regulatory requirements working across the platform and our CRM.

Identify new opportunities, features and functionality of the platform and its integration with other OS systems, to improve customer experience and marketing effectiveness.   Evaluate the business benefits of new features, working with the wider team and our platform partner.

Training new and existing users at a minimum every quarter.

What were looking for  

At least 2 years experience of working with a marketing automation platform ideally DotDigital, MSDynamics or other cloud-based platforms to deliver marketing & other communications.

Direct and multi-channel digital marketing experience is essential.

Experience of analysing & reporting campaign performance and applying insights to optimise.

Have worked in close partnership with suppliers/agencies to deliver success. 

Dynamics/other CRM platform experience is also desirable.

Knowledge of web behaviour tracking & lead scoring and how these influence the development of customer communication campaigns throughout the marketing funnel, would be an advantage.
