Delivering change to shape our future. Thats when it hits home.

With our strategy set, and direction clear, our APM Award Winning Programme Management Office (PMO) is delivering the strategic programmes and projects, that ensure Home Group remains the market leader in our field.

We need the right people to make this happen, so were looking for a dynamic and passionate Project Manager, to come and join our brilliant team and help us shape our future!

In this challenging role, you will work with the business, across a variety of strategic and business critical projects.  You will join the IS function, working with the rest of the PMO, to deliver large scale diverse change initiatives, in what is normally a predominantly office based role at our Head Office (although we are all working from Home at the moment!)

Joining Mels PMO Team, you will deliver our projects and programmes.  Mel loves working for Home Group but is also a firm believer in getting the right work-life balance.  With a husband, 2 sons and 2 dogs to €œproject€ manage theres never a dull moment but shell always find time to relax (and if its with a glass of something bubbly, even better!)

Working flexibly

Its the teams unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your childs school play, your partners graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!

A bit about you

You are a confident and skilled Project Manager; with significant experience deploying projects using formal project management frameworks (Prince 2 and Agile).  You have substantial experience managing the entire project lifecycle and are an excellent rapport builder, with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of colleagues and stakeholders.

Youre analytical in your approach and prepared to challenge where compliance is at risk. You ensure your projects are fully understood and the appropriate business engagement is in place throughout the projects lifecycle. Working flexibly in partnership with colleagues, you adapt your style to match the needs of the business area(s) in which you are working.  Youre self-motivated and look to add value and make a difference. You have a strong commitment to continually improving the way we work.
