Your new role

We have an exciting opportunity for a secondary English teacher in the heart of Taunton on a long-term or permanent basis. This is ideally a full-time position starting asap, however, a part-time work pattern would also be considered. This position is suitable for NQTs/ECTs and qualified teachers with experience teaching English within a secondary setting who value innovation and creativity. We will support you throughout this role and find you a new position at the end of the contract if necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

  • An enthusiastic and open-minded approach to education
  • Bachelor's degree in maths or any other related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary or higher education level.
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
