This Secondary School located in Birmingham are looking for a Science teacher to join the team. Your new role

As a Science teacher who will have experience within secondary school, you will be welcomed into the school on a long-term, full-time basis starting in April. You will be required to fulfil an active teaching role, which will include:

• Planning, marking and assessment
• Attending staff meetings
• Attending parents' evenings and liaising with parents

You will have the duty of teaching across KS3-KS4, including planning, preparation, and assessments. You will be working alongside supportive staff to plan exciting and motivating lessons so that children's learning is engaging, interactive and challenging.

What you'll need to succeed

Hays welcomes all applications, whether you are a more experienced teacher or an ECT, you must have completed your studies and hold full QTS. You should have a professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. You will have good National Curriculum knowledge and have experience in Key Stage 3-4 in a Secondary school.

You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.

In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references, and you must be available until at least the end of this academic year.
