Duty Manager

Your new company :
Blakeney Hotel is a privately owned family run hotel which has a magnificent quayside location, with panoramic views across the estuary and salt marshes to Blakeney Point, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The hotel has over 60 bedrooms, 2 spacious sitting rooms (one for residents only), a bar, a restaurant, and a games room. The relaxing leisure area has an indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and mini gym overlooking the sun terrace and south-facing gardens.

Your new role:

  • Day to day management of the hotel.
  • Assisting in all departments as business dictates.
  • Ensuring high levels of service are consistently delivered.
  • Support staff and customers.
  • Handling any guest issues and queries quickly in a discreet and professional manner.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.
  • Training & monitoring staff performance.
  • General cleanliness of the hotel areas.

    • What you'll need to succeed :
  • A friendly, professional, outgoing nature and a positive attitude.
  • Previous hospitality experience in a quality establishment is required.
  • An ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Great organisational and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and staff management skills.
  • An ability to motivate and direct staff with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • A willingness to work evenings/weekends and have overnight stays on the premises on a rota basis.
  • Be passionate about customer satisfaction.
