The role:
We are currently looking for a Principal Actuarial Analyst to join our wider finance team on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract basis.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience within reserving and transformation is key, as is a background of leading and delivering on different projects or pieces of work.
Analytically and technically minded, were looking for an excellent problem solver who is at ease with independent working.
What youll be doing:
We need you to help us with advice around uncertainties, which come equally from the natural volatility of large claims or from a change in legislation, such as IFRS 17 which we are preparing for now.
You will provide data, analytical support and recommendations to the wider teams by accurately mining data records, providing insightful analysis to advise reserving, forecasting and monitoring.
You will also review work and provide mentorship and feedback to less experienced team members, tackling a mentoring role to ensure knowledge is constantly shared.
Who youll be working with:
You'll be part of a vibrant and relaxed finance function all based in one open plan office at the heart of our Head Office. We are growing several of our teams there and you are likely to be one of several new starters.
