We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Bromley based External Affairs team as a Corporate Communications Executive.

The Role:

You will provide support to the team, to deliver impactful corporate communications campaigns.

What you'll be doing:

Support the Head of Corporate Communications and Senior Corporate Communications Manager to implement communications plans that align with the DLGs priorities.

Provide support to deliver press activity including proactively seeking opportunities, drafting press releases and quotes, supporting the financial reporting timetable.

Deliver impactful social media campaigns.

Support the delivery of a creative content plan for the corporate website.

Ensure that communications plans are shared across the team and with relevant parts of the business to improve input and opportunities.

Draft content for a range of purposes for example reports; website; speeches and briefings.

Work with people across the business to develop corporate stories for example; agile; internal; careers; claims etc.

Research for speeches and briefings and reports.

Supervise the delivery of key communications projects.

Coordinate events as appropriate.

Ownership of the corporate planner and co-ordination of team meetings.

What we are looking for:

Bachelors degree or experience gained in a corporate affairs, public relations or communications environment.

First class writing skills and possesses the ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing across multiple subject areas.

Highly curious and a keen interest in business, leadership, public policy and current affairs.

Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative.

Desirable experience:

Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment.

Understanding of how to use data and research to support communications.

Self-starter. Able to work independently as needed.

Capable of achieving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often on short deadlines.
