About the role
As the Account Executive you will manage and retain existing business in Ordnance Survey (OS) Direct, Public Sector and Licensed Partner accounts. You will be responsible for securing data renewals and partner royalty returns. Dealing with a wide range of enquiries including the qualification and signing up of new partners, pricing and licensing queries, and providing data quotations.
You will assist OS business divisions with campaign work including call out campaigns around important events and exhibitions. Support activities for the business to assist in the successful roll-out and adoption of the Open MasterMap Programme including a suite of new APIs.
The Account Executive will be responsible for:
Managing the relationship with a number of OS Licensed Partners, dealing with all enquiries they generate, and the timely processing of their royalty returns
Retaining existing business for OS in the Energy and Infrastructure sector, proactively chasing renewals and upselling where possible
Management of existing Government data renewals outside of OS collective agreements and upsell where possible
Ownership of account enquiries received directly and through the external business mailboxes the team manages
Providing quotes, respond to any pricing and licensing enquiries and any data enquiries within the Inside Sales managed account sets
Qualification of potential new partner enquiries received through the partnership enquiries mailbox and from other departments within OS (example: Geovation Hub)
Direct new partner enquiries appropriately via the data exploration, sub partner or partnering routes.
Overseeing the sign up of new Partners and liaising with all internal departments to ensure that the business systems are set up appropriately
Dealing with any questions or queries in relation to Open MasterMap APIs, assisting existing and new partners with their adoption, supporting and nurturing users and providing the business with intelligence around adoption and usage as part of regular business reporting
