At the Phoenix group, we are passionate about helping people achieve a more secure and sustainable future. We pride ourselves on putting our customers and clients at the heart of what we do listening and responding to their needs. Standard Life, our brand in the workplace and retail space, has resonated for a long time now. Our UK Proposition team is tasked with shaping and designing innovative propositions in line with changes in our clients' and customers' needs to get, and stay, ahead of the game. As a result, we have several exciting opportunities for Proposition Consultants across our business.

The role

Youll have the opportunity to work on a broad range of initiatives across our Proposition teams including Adviser, Customer and Workplace. This could be anything from developing our guidance solution at retirement and our financial wellness programme for members or improving our adviser solutions and developing new products and services for our employers and trustees.

This will involve:

Improving existing solutions: You will immerse yourself in our propositions and how customers and clients are using them; identifying where we could do more and where we could do better.

Identifying new opportunities: Using external an internal insights and data, and market and industry trends youll help to identify new opportunities across our channels.

Supporting the development of business cases and senior consultants on large projects.

Ensuring any identified risks and issues are resolved to manage our conduct risk.

Ensuring that all wider stakeholders in the business are kept up to date on our developments.

What talents are we looking for?

Customer/client centric: you live and breathe the customer or client. You understand them, you advocate for them and you create propositions for them. Supporting customers and making a difference in their lives is the reason you get out of bed in the morning.

Able to navigate the complex world of financial services: you'll understand the interconnected nature of our markets, including the different roles advisers, trustees, employers and customers can play and what we need to consider when developing propositions.

Seeing the bigger picture: you don't need to be Nostradamus, but we do need you to have a handle on the key trends and drivers in the industry, what is shaping them and why.

A great storyteller: not only can you spot the trends, your impressive communication skills means you are able to play your conclusions back to a variety of stakeholders in an engaging way.

Relationship builder: You are known for your ability to build and maintain great working relationships across the business on your mission to make it happen and manage a wide range of stakeholders.

A sense of fun: As well as delivering results, you like to have a great time in your role and are always keen to bring a sense of fun to the team.
