Work Pattern: Part Time

Part time - 28 hours per week

Are you passionate about anti-racist and anti-oppressive and creating change for children, families and practitioners across Hackney? Hackney Children and Families Service is now recruiting to the exciting new post of Diversity and Inclusion Lead. 

As an experienced, dynamic and passionate leader you will be working at the forefront of best practice, playing a major role in developing our anti-racist and anti-oppressive strategy and action plan, engaging senior leaders and influencing multi-agency partnerships to tackle structural racism.

We are seeking to develop our model to further co-collaborate with children, families and take forward a community focused approach to achieving change. 

The role of Diversity and Inclusion Lead provides an opportunity for an experienced practitioner and strategist to engage and support senior leaders in organisational change utilising your expertise to shape our services. You will have considerable leadership experience, strong knowledge of research, evidence based approaches, legislation and guidance and a sound knowledge of systemic practice. 

Dynamic, innovative, committed and passionate, you will bring a comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of creating systems and practice change supporting work with a diverse workforce working with vulnerable children and families . Your strong leadership skills will enable you to mobilise the abilities of professionals and colleagues, both in Children and Families Service, in partner agencies and in other areas of the council ensuring the very best outcomes for children in Hackney. 

Candidates must hold a degree level qualification including a certified qualification in either HR, social work, youth work, clinical practice or another associated professional background with evidence of continued professional development.
