Exciting opportunity for an experienced research professional to join the strategy and insight team at the British Medical Association (BMA) on a fixed term (10-month maternity cover) contract. This is a key role in conducting and delivering research and identifying and sharing insight to help the BMA in improving the products and services it provides to members and in supporting our mission of `we look after doctors so they can look after you`.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
-Management of the research plan for the team, in alignment with our strategic priorities
-Commissioning and delivering primary research to gain insight into members` needs
-Communicating research findings
-Conducting competitor research and providing regular reports on competitors
-Working with stakeholders from across the association to identify, gather and action insight
-Analysing multiple data sets to derive insight
-Supporting product managers with obtaining data and insight to help monitor the performance of products and services
-Providing insight to inform enhanced segmentation to help target communities of doctors with common needs
-Managing third party relationships with suppliers of marketing services for example research and data
-Managing an analysis executive
Our ideal candidate will have:
-Proven expertise and experience across all types of research
-Strong analytical and data skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills, especially communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, leadership and influencing
-Excellent problem-solving skills, including thinking creatively to resolve issues
-Project management experience
-Educated to degree level and with a relevant qualification / qualified by relevant experience
