Aspire is a successful social enterprise started as a float off from Salford City Council social care services in 2015.   We support people to live fulfilling lives, where their aspirations and those of their families and friends are achieved through intelligent, well thought out care and support.  We are an employee owned Community Interest Company run by an integrated Board of Directors.

We have become known for the quality of our work and ability to provide bespoke care and support services.  Our primary contract is with Salford Royal Foundation Trust (SRFT), which has been extended until 1 April 2021 with an option for a further year extension.  While we are proud of our achievements so far, we are ambitious and want to continue to grow and diversify.  Our new Chief Executive will be integral to this.

As Chief Executive, you will lead a workforce of 290 employees, who all have a share in the company and are represented through the Employee Owners Board at the Aspire Board of Directors Meeting.  An inspiring leader, you will provide sound leadership to the organisation and to our Board as we embark on the next phase of our journey.  With excellent commercial awareness, you will be able to 

spot new opportunities for us to expand on our services and ensure Aspire is best positioned to take advantage of these.

You will bring strong strategic leadership experience with excellent commercial awareness.  We have a wealth of social care knowledge within our organisation already and it is less important that you bring similar experience. However, you will likely have led on or been heavily involved in successful business development of public sector contracts.  Comfortable operating at the highest levels, you will be able to advise and guide our Board, with the gravitas to gain credibility and trust both internally and with other likeminded organisations, commissioners and regulators.
