The BMA`s science and public health team`s mission is to secure a public health system and policies that keep the public healthy. By reviewing and assessing the latest research and scientific literature, we develop evidence-based recommendations for action.

Your role will be to help drive forward our programme of policy work, developing proposals that will help us influence the debate on science and public health policy areas of interest to our members across the UK. You will provide expert policy advice and guidance to a variety of audiences including senior staff, committees, chief officers and members, as well as producing briefings, guidance and other practical support materials and representing the BMA at external events as required.

As a BMA employee, you`ll receive:

-Double matching pension contributions up to 12% of salary

-Season ticket loan (up to £10,000) after completion of probationary period

-Additional flexible benefits

Diversity monitoring: We need your support. We want to make sure our staff come from a variety of backgrounds so we especially welcome applications from disadvantaged communities. Even if you`re not selected, it would be really helpful if you could complete the equal ops data when you apply for this role, because we can make sure we`re encouraging a diversity of people to apply. Thank you very much.
