At NHSBT, we celebrate life. From saving and enhancing as many lives as possible, through to creating a great quality of life for our colleagues we believe that an enriching experience should be available to all.

As Assistant Director of Donor experience services, you will have ownership of all online and offline donor engagement, ranging from our websites and donor portals through to donor centres and hospitals. With a focus on improving the end-to-end donor experience in every setting and context, you will use qualitative and quantitative research to understand and represent the voice of the donor, sharing this knowledge with each service and directorate to shape the best possible principles and standards. Working in partnership with several delivery organisations, you will prioritise change initiatives, making sure donors have access to modern, efficient and secure online services. Central to your success will be your ability to collaborate with the internal marketing teams, and you will play an essential part in our marketing modernisation. This is a role that will present you with great variety and reach at every level.

There is huge scope to pursue your professional ambitions in our dynamic and fast-paced team. To make the most of this opportunity, you will have a proven track record within a senior leadership role and a background in marketing-related strategic management and planning, with an emphasis on delivering value-for-money and enhanced services.

We will support you with a desirable benefits package that includes a competitive NHS pension, generous annual leave and flexible working options. Then we’ll add in sector-leading development opportunities and the option to apply for funding for personal development, so that your skills always match your ambitions. We will support your work/life balance with the option to apply for this role as a job-share, in a variety of locations or travel whilst being a home worker.

Join our ambitious senior leadership colleagues, and you can help us build an even more loyal donor base by making the donor experience everything it should be. You will have the scope to make your mark and play a leading role in creating a diverse donor base with the right mix and volume of donors to meet patients’ needs today and in the future.
