Senior Relationship Manager (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We are excited to be recruiting for the role of Senior Relationship Manager (full or part-time; minimum of 4 days a week) within the Business Banking team.

Based in our London office near St Pauls, you will be part of a fast-growing business and a frontrunner in sustainable banking, responsible for delivering growth in the provision of Business Banking lending and products, through the development of new and existing customer relationships in the Social & Cultural sectors. This encompasses social housing, healthcare, arts and culture and education and other third sector organisations.

Responsibilities:

-Generate new lending enquiries and presenting credit assessments to the Banks UK credit committee, in furtherance of the team objectives

-Manage a c. £100m portfolio of customer relationships both in terms of credit risk and operational performance to actively promote Triodos Banks lending, banking services and marketing events/ campaigns, raising the banks external profile

-Develop and maintain a network of key business Introducers within the professional business community to ensure that they have a good working knowledge of Triodos Bank and act as introducers of quality business

-Develop and maintain ongoing bank policy and strategy regarding specialist sectors. This also involves raising the awareness of the bank in the relevant networks and communities, and working with international co-workers to form a wider perspective

-Be available to assist with pan sector activity within business and personal banking to reinforce our regional presence across the UK

-Prepare and negotiate indicative term sheets and loan terms for new and existing complex, high profile or large exposure customers and their advisors

-Liaise with the Technical & Securities team and / or solicitors to ensure smooth processing of loan formalities and pay-outs

-Actively participate in team meetings and communications which will involve regular travelling within the UK and ad-hoc trips to Europe

In order to be successful in this role, you will have considerable experience in commercial lending, preferably in an ethical and sustainable environment, and be able to deal with complex credit proposals and customers, including property development projects. The ability to develop and manage a client portfolio with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will able to understand product and service profiles and to present these to customers, with a detailed understanding of the marketplace and competition.
