We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Talent team as a Senior Learning & Development Partner, working up to two days at our Support Centre in Worksop and the remaining days remotely.

As our Senior Learning & Development Partner you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and leading the learning & development strategy across wilko, there will never be a dull day. Together with your talented team of L&D Partners, you’ll be maximising our team members current skills and knowledge, to create high performing teams; whilst providing the tools for our colleagues to forge fantastic careers here at wilko.

Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve driving team member capability, knowledge and teaching leadership skills through the delivery of learning content. You’ll set, implement, and monitor objectives for the L&D function, aligning them with the overall strategy to provide clear direction and measurable outcomes.

Along with;

-Role modelling the company values and leadership behaviours, ensuring your profile is maintained and you are embedded in all aspects of the talent life cycle.

-Creating organisational talent pipelines to ensure adequate home-grown talent complemented with robust, strategically aligned talent programmes to develop wilko’ s best people to take on future roles.

-Responsibility for mandatory compliance learning, its content, relevance and fitness for purpose for all audiences in wilko. Working alongside stakeholders to maximise compliance ratings.

-Leading relevant projects and activities to deliver the HR elements of the Shape our Future Strategy, collaborating with stakeholders and external parties to shape the best L&D solutions to mitigate organisational risks and issues.

-Working collaborative stakeholders, ensuring all L&D content and delivery is relevant as well as fit for purpose.

 

For this role we need a strategic leader who has experience of managing an L&D function, an exceptional influencer having managed stakeholders at all levels and prior knowledge of the challenges presented with delivering a multisite L&D offering.
