At this critical juncture of Brexit, we`re searching for an EU Public Affairs Manager. Is that you?
As the UK and the EU prepare to part ways, we remain committed to our important partnerships with European medical organisations. We want to continue playing an active role in campaigning and working to improve health services for patients and working conditions for doctors across Europe. We`ll also be identifying and lobbying on key pieces of UK based legislation resulting from Brexit.
If you think you`re up for the challenge, you`ll need:
- High levels of experience working in EU affairs and European lobbying
- Experience of working in UK lobbying and understanding of parliamentary process
- Fluency in French and proficiency in other European languages desirable
- Experience of developing detailed policy reports and lobbying briefings
- Experience of working within the health policy sector desirable
- Line management experience
The British Medical Association (BMA) is the professional association and trade union for doctors and medical students in the UK. It has a prominent and influential position at the very heart of current debate over the future of healthcare provision.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months and will be based in either London or Brussels. You may be working remotely initially, but we`ll provide all the support you need. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply through our website.
