United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) is seeking to appoint a new CEO to offer inspiring and engaging leadership to this world leading organisation. The role will be based outside of London. Main UKSV operational centres are in York and Milton Keynes (see FAQ in candidate pack for more details).
UKSV was launched to establish a single provider of government National Security Vetting Services. Vetting is a key service to government security as it provides assurance of individuals working in sensitive roles. The organisation is going through a period of substantial change, as it has transferred from the Ministry of Defence to the Cabinet Office and into the centre of the security function.
The major transformation includes moving to a fully digital service. The organisation is therefore seeking an exceptional CEO who is motivated to lead this endeavour.
Ideal candidates will have current and relevant experience leading a high-profile organisation and an understanding and track record of enabling change.
