At Home Group its critical we continue to deliver services for our customers during the COVID-19 outbreak, and our awesome colleagues are at the very heart of making that happen. We need Brilliant People like you to join us (and not just during this challenging time). We are doing things a little differently at the moment, so to keep you, our customers and ourselves safe well engage with you digitally where possible.

Have you been looking to earn some extra cash, while keeping to your current commitments? Now you can! Whats more, youll be making a difference!

This is an exciting time to join Home Group one of the UKs Largest Housing providers and be part of our brilliant flexible bank. Youll be supporting our amazing customers, while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work.

Where you could work

Youll be helping our vulnerable customers in Exeter, although if youre interested you could branch out to Torquay and Plymouth too the choice is yours! In Devon we have our Mental Health Community Recovery Service as well as our Ex-Offenders service, so just let us know which youd prefer to work in.

Our Mental Health Service supports the recovery of our customers to help them gain independence within the community and to build on their support networks and skills to live fulfilling lives. Our CQC registered service supports customers in their own living environments, to learn and develop life skills, manage their own risks and outcomes and aiming to move on to more independent living. Our Ex-offenders Services supports those leaving prison and help them get back on their feet by finding employment, housing and assisting with bill's and rent payment etc.

There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting our customers to achieve their hopes and aspirations, working to bespoke care plans. Youll go home each day knowing that youve made an amazing difference to vulnerable peoples lives. How amazing is that! One day you might be helping our customers manage their finance or household tasks, the next you might be off to the seaside for fish and chips! Rest assured that wherever you work, we will support you all the way. Its a great role to build up experience, as a steppingstone in your career, or just as a meaningful casual role!

About you

You thrive both on working with a range of vulnerable customers, who all have different support needs, as well as working with colleagues across different services.  Youll be flexible to work at short notice, as youll be the one picking your next shift. The great news is that youll be gaining loads of experience working in different services or locations. But we do need to be a real people person! Though youll have the heart of a Lion, youll sometimes need the skin of a Rhino, however they dont take away from the caring nature you display towards our customers.

You may already work with vulnerable adults or have done so in the past, however its not a deal-breaker if you havent. However to be brilliant, we do need you to have a caring attitude and the desire to learn and make a difference!
