The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) is seeking to appoint a new Director of Finance and Corporate Services to operate at an Executive level and provide strong commercial financial leadership to this world leading organisation based in Taunton, Somerset.
THE UKHO is the leading centre for hydrography, providing commercial marine geospatial data to inform maritime decisions. These include navigation, safety, security and marine development both around the UK and worldwide. The UKHO plays an integral role in informing the Ministry of Defence and operates as a trading fund and arms-length body of the Department.
The organisation has embarked on a major transformation programme which involves moving to a fully digital service and is seeking a highly commercial financial professional to help them deliver on this significant change project.
Ideal candidates will have current and relevant experience of significant senior leadership, operating at a strategic level in highly commercial organisations and a track record of transforming finance and corporate service functions. A CCAB or CIMA Qualification is required.
