L&Q has made a commitment in response to the housing crisis and we are working to create 100,000 new homes over ten years directly and by working in partnership with others. We are now recruiting a new Chair of our Development Committee to continue to support our strategic objectives as a developing housing association. 

We are looking for a strategic, socially, and commercially focused individual with the energy and drive to make a difference.  Our new Chair of the Development Committee will have a strategic view of the real estate sector and support L&Q to deliver large and complex developments. Our role is to create places our customers can call home. We need an individual who has a focus, not just on development, but someone who understands broader regeneration and community growth. As the Chair of L&Q’s Development Committee you will support us in developing and maintaining crucial partnerships across the public and private sector.

We need an individual who has experience of operating at executive and non-executive level across large, complex, and diverse organisations. You will be strongly aligned to L&Q’s culture and values, demonstrating a collaborative, enabling leadership stylex and a deep and authentic commitment to our social purpose.
