Working as a lead with one or more of our key contractors youll be accountable for monitoring and driving contractor performance to our agreed standards and resolving issues or disputes arising from our contractual works in order to deliver on our brilliant customer promise.
 
Youll have an eye on continuous improvement across Voids and Responsive. Finding creative solutions and managing change are at the heart of what you do and you enable services to rapidly improve, bringing people with you on the journey.

About our team
Youll be working as part of our fabulous team who are super passionate about delivering a first-class maintenance solution to our customers.  Our director Paul has worked here at Home Group almost 3 years now, having worked in contact centres and maintenance environments for the past 14 years. Outside of work Paul enjoys a hectic social life and when not cooking is planning his next trip with his wife Victoria!
You will have the support of a fantastic management team, our Heads of Maintenance Louise and David have worked at Home Group for between 17 and 23 years each and youll also have a team of brilliant peers to work alongside.
 
When youll work
Its the teams unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your childs school play, your partners graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!
 
About you
As an experienced Maintenance and Contract Manager youll be responsible for ensuring the team delivers an exceptional and effective customer focussed maintenance service.
 
Customers are at the heart of all you do, and youll use your customer insight to develop new and improved services appropriate to the customers needs.  Youll have excellent inter-personal and organisational skills to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
 
Here at Home Group we have invested heavily in our future and use current and up to date equipment. Youll be issued with the latest kit, which could include a Surface Pro and mobile. So it's really important to us that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
 
Travel
Youll have the chance to shape your own diary. However youll likely spend time on the road to effectively maintain the estates your responsible for, and have the option to work from home from time to time.
