Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Partner Operations Manager in our Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) Revenue Operations team. This person will partner with key HQ and regional stakeholders to develop and deploy the Partner operations framework aound the Partner Sales and service organization within region. 


The ideal candidate should be excited to be working with colleagues across EMEA, and be capable of adjusting to differing cultural nuances and business conditions. This will also extend to working and aligning with the global Illumina Commercial Operations teams to represent EMEA requirements and align with global standards.


The ideal candidate is perceptive and capable of identifying actions or processes that are against the best interests of the company and be capable of taking appropriate action to escalate and correct the issue where appropriate. They must also be able to readily adapt to changing needs of our customers and sales team, and deploy adjustments to our processes as required.


Tasks and Responsibilities:


Implement global frameworks in the EMEA region including pipeline management, quota management, administration of incentives, case management or service contract activities
Deliver ad-hoc and regular Partner competitor reports to management
Implements and tracks recruitment of Partners as needed, ensure renewal of Partner are executed in a timely manner. Helps to identify a pipeline of Partners if needed.
Develops standardised collateral for partner recruitment and tailors collateral for regional nuances
Execution Partner On-boarding plan
Monitors and reports on regional channel compliance activities
Leads regional contract adjustment Pricing efforts with Partner Account Managers (PAMs)
Assist PAMs or internal Service team in planning exercises with local partners to set and track revenue targets, reviews Pipeline, set and agree on Quotas
Schedule, coordinate or provide Training to Channel Partners as needed
Partner with leadership in developing channel strategy and orchestrate the sales planning process.
Proactively identify program elements that enable partners to generate incremental growth, drive partner satisfaction and loyalty, and maximize program impact and ROI.
Assess the impact of pricing and promotion on channel performance.

Preferred Educational Background:


MBA or Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Business or Technical field preferred. Life sciences degree a plus.


Preferred Experience & Skills:


Successful track record in Channel Sales, Channel Operations, Sales operations or a related commercial support role preferred.
Significant relevant work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English , Fluency in another another European language would be useful.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in team settings, and work independently when required.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and project management skills.
Understands Go-To-Market strategy principles, utilization of key business metrics to enable data-driven decision making and key customer engagement processes
Possess an open, flexible, and positive can-do attitude with good communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with multiple departments to execute mutually beneficial solutions. Experience dealing with difficult internal and external situations.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications. Software, especially web-based software, shouldnt scare the ideal candidate. Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
