Lead Property Sales Progressor
Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne
Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary Circa £35,000 depending on skills and experience

We are doing things a little differently at the moment, so to keep you, our customers and ourselves safe well engage with you digitally where possible. 
 
We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team. The Statutory Sales and Resales team help our customers achieve their home ownership goals. Your task will be to meet (and exceed!) our sales income and targets by actively progressing our resales, staircasing and right to acquire and right to buy cases through to completion. Youll achieve through your brilliant bespoke service to all current and potential customers, promoting our home ownership services all the way!
You will join us working at our Head Office in Gosforth. Half of our team are based in our London office in Farringdon but we look after our combined customers all across the country!
 
About the team
Youll discover that our fabulous team are super passionate about helping the business achieve its key objective of building (and selling) the right homes in the right places! To us were not just a team were a €œwork family€. Our manager Susanna has worked for Home Group for over 8 years now and brings 26 years of experience in sales and marketing. When shes not at work, she enjoys spending time with her (small but perfectly formed) family. There will be 10 of us in the team. We dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too! As a team we get together once a month and we alternate between London and Newcastle (so youll have your chance to get up to see the €œtoon€).
 
About you
Youre a proven leader, adept at using your coaching and motivational skills to ensure your team achieve their sales and customer service targets. Youre adept at prioritising and managing a large and varied workload in order to meet performance targets and deadlines.
 
You come from a property sales environment, and thrive on using your marketing and sales techniques. You know your resales from your staircasing, and statutory sales to retirement sales, and can manage them from start to finish! Obviously, you understand the housing market, but we also need you to understand all the legal bits that come with it, as well as relevant housing acts, Homes England guidelines and the legislative elements that come with the housing market!
 
Youre a real people person with superb customer service and interpersonal skills, and you understand how critical customer service excellence is to our reputation and results!
 
You use your brilliant verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with, and influence a wide variety of stakeholders (either internal or external). Here at Home Group we have invested heavily in our technological infrastructure, so its really important to us that youre technologically savvy.
 
To make sure our customers are well supported, its important that you have worked in a property sales and marketing environment before. Dont worry, we wont drop you in the deep end, well help to you understand how things work at Home Group!
 
Youll be office based for the majority of your time, however our team come together approximately 2 days per month, and youll be expected to join us and possibly be away overnight.

You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!
