Job Description

The Illumina Talent Acquisition team are looking for a Senior Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Partner because of ongoing growth of the business.


The Talent Acquisition Partner will be a part of a commercially aware Talent Acquisition function and will be able to influence talent acquisition strategies across in EMEA as well as improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.

Responsibilities:
 
Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s) under minimal supervision.
Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions.
Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers.
Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
Pre-screens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools.
Documents candidate evaluation and interview process.
Negotiates and/or supports hiring manager in developing new hire compensation package/offers.
Works with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or internet website representatives in the course of conducting employment advertising campaigns.
May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources.
May develop, support and maintain college recruiting, affirmative action and career development programs.
 
Qualifications/Skills/Approach:
 
Demonstrable track record in an in-house or agency recruitment environment
A passion for partnering with the business
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and candidates simultaneously under minimal supervision.
Experience of cutting-edge sourcing strategies and assessment tools as well as an awareness of branding and use of social media.
Demonstrable knowledge of European laws and regulations surrounding the recruitment process
A willingness to learn and be at ease working in an atmosphere of continuous change and differing demands
Experience of recruiting across EMEA within IT, medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceutical environments
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Proficient in sourcing techniques including Linkedin, Google, ATS mining, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and has a sense of urgency.
