Fixed term contract until 30 September 2020 (this is an ideal secondment opportunity)

Location: Southwark, London

An opportunity to join a team that supports vulnerable people across London

London Councils Employment and Inclusion Programme provides £15 million of support to people who are homeless, unemployed or are victims of sexual and domestic violence.

The Programme is funded by the London boroughs, the City of London and the Greater London Authority through European Social Funding (ESF).  Our Partners - many of them voluntary and community sector organisations - deliver the Programme, which is managed by the Employment and Inclusion team at London Councils.

The job of the Quality Assurance Administrator is to provide assurance to London Councils and our Partners that the administration of the programme documentation and evidence is in line with ESF national guidance and London Councils programme guidance.

A keen eye for detail, the ability to understand and explain comprehensive guidance, intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills and a talent for working with people are essential. Experience of projects that support vulnerable adults into work would be beneficial although not essential, but all candidates must demonstrate a commitment in practice to tackling inequality.

The post holder will spend the majority of their time out of the office, as working with and supporting our Partners is a key requirement of the post.

London Councils represents the 32 boroughs and the City of London. We aim to get the best deal for Londoners and to ensure that Londons councils have the resources, freedoms and powers to do the best possible job for their residents and local businesses.

We also run a number of services on behalf of the boroughs including the Freedom Pass, Taxicard and Health Emergency Badge.

Closing date: Noon, 3 February 2020.

Interview date: w/c 10 February 2020.
